1. Your logo does not adapt well with today’s media
If your logo was designed 10 to 15 years ago, it may not be optimized to work well on your site or on social media platforms like Twitter or Facebook. Earlier on, logos were only used on Yellow Pages or on Brochures, but today your logo needs to function well across several mediums. To start with, your logo should be easily sized up/down and readable. It should look good in black or white and make an appealing button on a mobile app.
2. Your logo does not represent your present business
As time passes, most businesses evolve. It is not an unheard practice for most companies to start with one service/product and then diversify into something different over time. Your logo should accurately stand for what you currently offer. In other words, a logo should capture the essence of your current business as well as what you plan for in the future.
3. Your logo was not professionally created
